Wayland is software that can act on its own. Before you run it, understand what it can do and the risks involved. Read this page in full.

Autonomous agent warning

Wayland and Wayland-Core can act on their own. They can execute commands, run code, modify or delete files, control other applications and AI tools, and send messages on connected channels.

You are responsible for reviewing and authorizing what it does, keeping backups, and supervising its actions. Run it only where you accept that risk.

Beta and experimental

Wayland is early software under active development. It may contain bugs, behave unexpectedly, change without notice, or stop working. Do not rely on it for anything where a failure would cause you harm.

Use at your own risk

Wayland is provided "AS IS", with no warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. You use it entirely at your own risk.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ferrox Labs and its contributors are not liable for any damage, data loss, security incident, financial cost (including model API charges), or any other harm resulting from your use of the software or from actions it takes.

Your responsibilities

When you run Wayland, it is on you to:

Not professional advice

Output from Wayland and the models it uses may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Verify anything important before you act on it.

Third-party tools and models

We are not responsible for the output, behavior, availability, or charges of any third-party models, agents, or services you connect to Wayland. Those operate under their own terms.
